Mangroves

This project protects mangroves, which trap more CO2 than any other kind of forest and as a result, slow global warming.

Seacology is funding education, trainings and natural resource management for mangrove conservation on Sukhon Island. The grant will also help local groups who are beginning a livelihood initiative program, and building a community mangrove center and mangrove study boardwalk.
