We’re excited to announce that Seacology will be partnering on a very fun and special fundraising event this November! Join us for a lively 48-hour livestream on November 6-8 to support Seacology’s win-win conservation.

Love Tropics is an annual weekend-long livestream event that raises money for high-impact organizations focused on issues affecting people living in the Earth’s tropics. The event is created by dedicated members of the Minecraft community, and features custom-built mini-games, maps, and activities within the gaming platform. This engaging, fun, and creative event also features interviews, videos, chats, and other ways to involve gamers in learning how to support important tropical conservation work.

Celebrating its 10th year, Love Tropics chooses a different organization each year to be the beneficiary of the funds raised during the livestream. We’re thrilled that Seacology has been selected to be the recipient of this year’s efforts. Our goal is to raise at least $35,000 over the course of the weekend to support our featured project in Barangay Dulao in the Philippines, which protects a forest watershed and provides clean electricity for community buildings like schools and health clinics. Any additional funds raised will go directly toward Seacology’s many other conservation- and community-focused projects around the world.
