Congratulations to the village of Mandalamekar, Java, which has been recognized by the national government for its leadership on climate change. The Indonesian Minister of Forestry presented an award to Mandalamekar for its management of forests and other natural resources. We’re proud to have played a small role in the community’s success as environmental stewards—Seacology helped protect 267 acres of rainforest there in a 2009 project.
