In June 2001, a Seacology held a scuba-diving and land based tour of the Galapagos Islands. Highlights of diving the Galapagos include swimming with sea lions, hammerhead sharks, penguins, turtles, stingrays, moray eels, seahorses, and seeing the biggest fish in the world - whale sharks. |

Participants on the expedition also had the opportunity to get close to giant tortoises (Duane Silverstein at left), blue-footed boobies and iguanas of all sorts. Expedition members met with the staff of the Charles Darwin Research Station. Seacology is assisting the Charles Darwin Research Station with a communication campaign for the establishment of no-take areas within the Galapagos Marine Reserve. |
