Seacology, together with NuSkin Taiwan, has assisted the Tayo people in the establishment of new mangrove preserves and the planting of 10,000 mangrove seedlings. Fifty percent of the world's mangrove forests have already been destroyed as a result of commercial development, particularly industrial aquaculture. Seacology is committed to assisting island communities in preserving mangrove biodiversity and providing sustainable alternatives to mangrove destruction.
