Stretch of beach used by nesting leatherback turtles that will now be protected

Jamursba Medi Beach near Saubeba and Warmandi Villages, Indonesia (January 2006). This beach, used by nesting leatherback turtles, will now be protected from feral animal predation and all turtle egg harvesting in exchange for 13 scholarships for residents of the two villages.
