Karen Peterson Joins Seacology Staff
Karen Peterson has joined the staff of Seacology as program associate. She held the same position for four years with the Goldman Environmental Foundation. Karen is a graduate of Hampshire College. She will be a jack of all trades for Seacology. Karen is Seacology's expert on northern island projects, is the newsletter editor, webmaster and corporate fundraiser, and if you call the Seacology office it will probably be her voice that you hear answering the phone. Karen's favorite island experiences are whale-watching off northeast Canada's Prince Edward Island as a young girl and observing fur seals on St. Paul in Alaska's Pribilof Islands.
